Company History

  • Established in 1952, Otto Stotz founded the company as a distribution company for manual air measuring devices, quickly becoming a leading company in pneumatic length measurement technology.
  • Main users: Our customers mainly come from the fields of medical technology, tool, machine, and automotive manufacturing, as well as their suppliers. We support these industries with precise measuring solutions.
  • Manufacturing depth: From mechanical setting standards to fully automated production-integrated systems – our manufacturing depth allows us to offer tailor-made solutions.
  • Conversion to GmbH in 1978: In 1978, the company was converted into a GmbH to strengthen the legal structure and promote our growth. Move to a new production hall in 2018:
  • In 2018, we moved to a modern production hall for our mechanical manufacturing to expand our capacities and produce more efficiently.
  • Construction of assembly hall and office building in 2023: In 2023, the construction of our new assembly hall and modern office building was completed to further increase our production capacities and promote collaboration.
  • Restructuring and realignment in 2022-2023: In 2022 and 2023, we carried out comprehensive restructuring to optimize our processes and strengthen our innovation power.
  • Acquisition by BETESO Group GmbH in 2023: In 2023, the company was acquired by BETESO Group GmbH, and Fredrik Ljungman was appointed as the new managing director. This development strengthens our position in the market and opens up new opportunities for the future.

 

 

2023Realignment and takeover by BETESO Group GmbH.
Innovation: The new measuring computer Sophron is coming to the market. Powerful, user-friendly, and housed in a robust casing, it sets new standards.
2022Modern design: The digital inserts DES also receive a modern and contemporary design.
2018Farewell: The measuring columns MSG and MLS are finally being replaced by the modern Mini-measuring column MSM.
2014Adding color: The Mini-measuring column MSM and the measuring column MSG-CL set new standards and bring color to the user interface with their new touchscreen.
2007New development: The new digital converter DSPW enables more precise and faster measurements. The LAN capability now allows for efficient data processing to be directly transmitted to the computer or network.
Dr. Stamenkovic strengthens the management team as an additional managing director.
1992Further development: Stotz company receives valuable reinforcement with Dr. Milan Stamenkovic. He is significantly involved in the development of new digital and electronic products and has filed numerous patents over the years.
1978Conversion into a GmbH.
1969New breeze: Thomas Stotz, the son of Otto Stotz, joins the company. With his expertise, he manages to expand the company and explore new markets.
